The Back on Track Long Johns and Boxer Shorts offer relief for groin problems, superficial hip pain, or bladder or prostate problems sometimes caused by the cold. We have seen good results when hip pain problems are linked to the superficial muscle and tendon known as the tensor fascia lata. In both younger and middle-aged people, inflammation of this muscle is often the cause of hip pain. The Long Johns are made of a polyester and cotton mix ribbed fabric, with a double layer of fabric and extra room in front but with a closed fly, so the garment may also be used by women. The fabric is a little stretchier which means that the garment is less sensitive to the choice of size. The waistband is made of a slightly wider elastic band, with Back on Track printed on it.
