In celebration of our history, Back on Track relaunches one of our earliest models of saddle pads - but updated, improved and with amplified effect!

The innovative, anatomically designed fit - by now a Back on Track classic - makes the pad mould to the curvature of the back, distinctly lifting it over the withers to avoid pressure points.

Straps are replaced by foam-filled stop-cushions that keep the pad in place and prevent it from sliding backwards. 

The inside, closest to the horse, is fully lined with our Welltex®️ infused Power Waffle fabric - the material that gives off the strongest reflection of far infrared energy (FIR).  The effect is enhanced by an additional layer of Welltex®️ containing material as part of the filling.

FIR is known to stimulate circulation, and the beneficial effect can help reduce muscle tension and keep back muscles warm and supple during training and performance. This, in turn, can also help reduce the risk of injury.   

Minimalist and timeless, these saddle pads feature an elegant quilting pattern made up of small squares.

Power Waffle™️ 

Power Waffle™️ is a moisture-wicking and quick-drying fabric with a waffled structure, often used for lining saddle pads. We call the material Power Waffle™️, because it provides the most powerful reflection of FIR among all our materials.  

The properties are due to a very high content of minerals, which are fused into the fabric’s threads during the manufacturing process. The waffled 3D structure amplifies the FIR effect by simply accommodating more of them in a given area. 

The chosen functional fabric is highly breathable, and because of the structure, it also creates very small air pockets that allow air to circulate.
